Zumba Hip Hop Fusion is a fast-paced dance workout that combines elements of hip hop with Latin dances such as Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Mambo, Flamenco, and Rumba.  Trained Zumba instructors lead the class in an easy to follow dance routine set to upbeat Latin music. The instructor may incorporate other elements such as hand weights and lunges for an added challenge.  Classes typically begin with a warm-up set to a moderate to slow beat, but the pace picks up quickly! Most of the Zumba class will alternate between moderate and fast-paced music designed to keep your body moving and your heart rate up.  The instructor will use verbal and hand cues to indicate the progression of the routine, making it easy to follow along, even if it is your first time.

Zumba Hip Hop Fusion is a great workout for anyone trying to keep in shape.  The high intensity of the Zumba routines makes it a perfect choice for a cardiovascular workout.  The nonstop dance action will really get your heart will be pumping. You can burn anywhere from 600 to 100 calories per hour, depending on how hard you push yourself.  Zumba also provides strengthening and toning for your whole body. How Do I Know If Zumba Classes Are Right For Me?

Zumba classes are designed so that each person can work at his or her own individual level.  Newbies can follow along at their own pace, whereas more experienced Zumba devotees can push themselves for a greater challenge.
