Club Rules
We want The Fitness Loft (TFL) to be a welcoming exercise environment for all members. The following rules are in place to accomplish just that, and we expect everyone to follow them. In short– respect other members, respect the facility, respect the staff. Simple and effective!
Scan In Every Time You Come Into The Gym
You must use your TFL ID card (either the physical card or the virtual card on the TFL app) to scan in for every visit. If you leave and come back on the same day, even to grab something from your car, you must scan in again. If you do not have your card physical or virtual you will be asked for an ID.
Don’t Drop Weights
Being on the second floor has its perks, but we must be mindful of the businesses below us. If you’re strong enough to pick it up, you’re strong enough to put it down.
Put Equipment Away
When you finish using the equipment, put it back where it came from! Be respectful of fellow members. You wouldn’t want to look around the gym for equipment.
Clean Equipment After Use
Use a sanitizing wipe or spray/towel to clean the equipment when you are finished with it.
Dress For The Gym
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times inside TFL (shoes may be removed for yoga classes). No jeans or clothes with rivets – they damage the equipment. Shorts must be long enough to cover…everything.
Please be aware of any messaging on your clothes. If it is deemed to be offensive or non-inclusive, we will ask you not to wear it at TFL moving forward.
Class Participation
If you sign up for a class or drop in for a class, BE ON TIME. It is rude to walk into a class once it has begun. Instructors have the right to ask you to leave.
Limit Cell Phone Usage
Your phone should not be on speakerphone while in the gym – that means calls, music, podcasts, TV shows, sporting events, etc.
If you must take a call, please take it downstairs. Please do not sit on equipment and text/scroll.
No Outside Trainers
For you safety, only trainers employed at TFL are allowed to train clients at TFL. Outside trainers are not insured in our space, and it’s disrespectful to our team.
Super-Setting and Working In.
You can superset BUT you must let other members work in if they ask. Be kind and share the equipment that everyone is paying to use.
